It is my honor to welcome you to our Most Worship Grand Lodge website, this is where you will be able to learn more about International Masons’ presence in the State of Florida, our Grand Lodge Officers and Leaders as well as some of the work we do in the communities where we have a presence.
Freemasonry is a beautiful system of morality veiled in allegories and illustratred by signs and symbols. When we meet, our goal is to find ways how we can be better, serve our communities, and contribute to society in a positive and meaningful manner.
For 2022, we celebrate 69 years in Florida and I am the 11th Most Worshipful Grand Master to sit in this seat. I do not take my responsibilities lightly. I want every International Mason in Florida to bring their talents and skills to make us better and strong. It’s going to take all of us to bring back Freemasonry from the devestation of COVID19.

We believe in the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man, founded on sound Christian principles. We adhere to the ancient moral principles of Freemasonry, and follow the 25 Landmarks of Freemasonry. We invite you to learn more about us, what we do, and our work throughout the State of Florida.
Our hope is in God in Jesus Christ. We know God is faithful and He will complete what He has begun. Thus, we remain confident as International Masons, a Religious Fraternal Order and wait patiently for God’s purposes to be fulfilled. We know death is the end of our time on Earth and the beginning of life with our Lord and Saviour.
We have a responsibility to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and give to the needy. Many Florida Lodges host events and programs that serve to benefit the communities we hold our meetings and where our members live. Our work is plenty and we commit to doing good by providing scholarships, clothes, shoes, etc.

IFAMM: 1950 to Present
International Free and Accepted Modern Masons, Incorporated was founded in 1950 by Dr. William Venoid Banks. We are headquartered in Detroit, Michigan and have a presence in more than 38 states, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and on the African Continent.
Florida's Masonic History
In 1950 when IFAMM was getting organized around the USA, Rev. Rufus Beacham helped to organize various sections of the state. In 1995, the St. James Grand Lodge was formed with the late Bishop R.F. Coleman serving as the first Grand Master. The name was changed in 2009.
Freemasonry 101
Freemasonry’s formal structure as we know it, was started in 1717. It is an ancient institution that maintains principles and landmarks that govern how good men are able to become better men. The Holy Bible is the rule and guide of our lives.
Florida's Masonic Districts
The Most Worshipful Illustrious Renford P. Brown Grand Lodge has hundreds of Masons active in Lodges throughout the State of Florida. We have organized Districts that consist of multiple Lodges and they are overseen by District Grand Masters.
Become an International Mason
Our ancient and modern custom is not to solicit members; men must seek membership on their own through a Mason they know or a Local Lodge. Membership is for men, 21 years of age or older, who meet the qualifications and standards of character and who believe in the existence of a Supreme Being.

The Most Worshipful Illustrious Renford P. Brown Grand Lodge has some of the best Masons in our Country and the World. We pride ourselves in doing good unto others.
Our Brothers come from all walks of life, with some never having gone to school and others holding post graduate degrees. We regard no titles/positions, socioeconomic status, education, or anything that would cause one Brother to feel inferior to another.
Our bedrock prinicple and commitment is to have good men come into our Membership Body, provide them with tools, education, Holy Bible lessons, and life experiences to make them better.
